We are FAHRER Berlin – the Bicycle- and E-bike-Accessory manufacturer from Berlin.

Many cyclists already recognize the small red logo with white lettering. It adorns bags, smartphone mounts, reflective bands, and various other accessories - and can now be found on roads all over the world. We have also established ourselves as a major player in the field of bicycle hardware components.

The story of FAHRER Berlin began in a shared kitchen in the heart of Berlin in 2004. It all started with a trouser strap: Joachim Leffler, now Managing Director of FAHRER Berlin, commuted by bike every day, and his trousers kept getting caught in the chain. Originally trained as an architect, he and his wife developed a Velcro trouser strap made from recycled truck tarpaulins..

At first, Joachim produced individual pieces in his spare time and sold the FAHRER BAND at Berlin’s designer Christmas markets. At a time when Berlin was known as “poor but sexy,” the trouser strap struck a chord with locals and quickly became a great success.

Four years later, in 2008, FAHRER Berlin was officially founded.

The e-bike has become a fully established means of transport for people of all ages, genders, and physical abilities. We manufacture motor and battery protectors, transport protection, and other useful accessories.

We enjoy working with reused materials such as large-format posters, truck tarpaulins, and boat covers. Wherever possible, we use PVC-free materials and recycled PET-based raw materials. The available resources determine the finishes and colors of our products.

We are passionate cyclists active across all segments: road and gravel, trials and mountain biking — sometimes on folding bikes, sometimes on city bikes, and when needed, on cargo bikes and e-bikes.
For all of us, the bicycle is the preferred means of everyday mobility. This allows us to continuously test our products and adapt them to the specific demands of cycling.
